Another weekend and the U12s penultimate home game of the season to fellow travellers Trowbridge. Bass started the game well and began to create chances which fell to both Eryn and Aoife with the latters speed causing the away team problems.

The first real threatening chance was created after the away keeper pulled off good save with the rebound falling to Eryn who effort on target rebounds off a player and lands at Aoife's feet and she finishes into the top corner. Bass continued to heap on pressure as Mia's instant impact saw her chance go just wide. Mia continued to pile on the pressure and Trowbridge were relying on their keeper to get them out of trouble as she clears but her following goal kick is weak and finds the path off Mia who beats the defender and finishes past the keeper for 2-0.

Bass continued their dominance but struggled to be composed in front of goal as Mia found Aoife inside the penalty area who just needed to slot home but goes for too much power and fires over. A further two quick chances from Aoife and Mia but can't convert.

Bassett's dominance continued as Mia's corner finds Maya and her initial contact finds Aoife who's strike is just wide. The first major chance for Trowbridge as their long goal kick makes its way through to the striker who sneaks through the back line and we rely on a great clearance from Elise to keep us at 2-0.

Another positive play finds the ball running towards the keeper who's clearance lands straight to Mia who drives forward and finishes from a tight angle to make it 3!

Moments later Bassett get a fourth as Aoife's dangerous cross after great play from Elise. is played into Eryn who along with a defenders foot gets a touch and loops over the keeper for 4

Bassett continued to drive for more goals as Mia's corner is straight at the keeper, and Eryn's strike from a through ball from Poppy is wide.

After several changes across the park for minutes Bassett deal with their truckers spell of the morning as they rely on last ditch clearances from Amelia and Poppy to ensure they keep their clean sheet.

Another chance for Trowbridge saw Ruby's clearance find Izzy who is able to beats her defender and her cross is deflected back to her and her shot is wide.

Trowbridge's strongest player (the goalkeeper) plays a ball through to their striker who forces ruby to pull off a good save with her feet to deny Trowbridge a goal.

A strong performance from Bassett but with a little bit more composure in front of goal it could of been much more.
