A great physical game sees Bassett cling onto a win after a strong team performance against Bradford in Avon. After losing 2-0 in the reverse fixture Bassett started the game strong with some impressive attacking play from Bassett.

However sadly a poor goal kick was nicked by the Bradford striker ahead of Warwick who could only watch the strike hit the back of the net. However Bassett pounced from the restart and a pass through to Sienna saw her shot saved by the keeper with Daisy lingering at the back post for her to see her shot also saved by the clambering keeper.

Moments later Bassett were given a penalty as Poppy was tripped in the box and Mia converted nicely to get the scores level.

Bassett then had another opportunity to attack as a Sienna drive and cross found Daisy at the back stick but unfortunately her shot was just wide. Mia was next to drive us forward and her opportunity also just ran wide of the post but Bassett were looking promising and strong in attack. And it wasn't far away, as Mia again drove towards the keeper and her shot was stopped as she's tackled late on but the ball dropped to Sienna to slot home past the keeper to make it 2-1 Bassett

A poor start from Bassett who were now playing up the slope as they struggled to clear the ball and Bradford started to find some form upfront while working down the slope. And after abit of trickery from their midfielder as Bassett fail to challenge her, her pass finds a player in space who was able to slot past Ruby in goal to make it 2-2. Bradford then had another opportunity as the winger had a great little run but her shot is saved by Ruby near post.

After a great corner from Sienna she found Daisy on the edge of the box who set to Mia who beats the defender and had a strike at goal. Her shot is saved by the goalkeeper who spills and Eryn isn't able to pop the ball into the net just before the keeper pounces on the ball. Another good opportunity for the Bradford striker as she beat Holly, who just recovers to stop her clear shot on goal to keep the scores level.

After a few more drives from Mia that sadly come to nothing it was Mia who finished for her second and earn Bassett a great win after Eryn and Sienna both battled the defenders in the middle of the park. Mia picks up the ball and drives forward and this time her shot goes past the keeper and into the corner to make it 3-2.

Bassett hold on for the final 5 minutes to secure a great win against a good Bradford side. Well done girls and POTM was Mia.
