Despite opening the scoring through Scott Chilcott, Royal Wootton Bassett Town fell to a 3-1 friendly loss away at Keynsham Town.
Bassett's Western League Division One hosts scored three unanswered goals to inflict a second friendly defeat in a row on Sam Collier's side.
Bassett continue their preparations with a pair of away friendlies against step seven opposition in the form of Pewsey Vale and Kintbury Rangers before finishing up with tougher tests against Devizes Town and Hartpury University - both step six sides.
