Royal Wootton Bassett Town Men's First Team opened up their series of preseason friendlies with a 9-2 home win against Tredworth Tigers.
Facing opposition from three levels below, the match was always going to be more about getting minutes into the legs than a meaningful test of how Bassett are shaping up for the new campaign.
But Bassett boss Sam Collier will be pleased with most aspects of his team's performance as well as how clinical they were in front of goal.
Scoring for Bassett were Matt Jones (2), Tom Moore (2), Scott Chilcott, Bailey Gallagher, Kai Robinson, Louis Spalding and Gio Wrona.
