Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development fell to a defeat by the narrowest of margins in their final home fixture of the season against Melksham Town Development.
An important game with both teams still aiming for a top six finish in the Wiltshire League Premier Division, Jake Dodge scored the all important goal that separated the two sides as he took his tally for the season into double figures.
Mark Simpkins' team now need victory in their last game away at Malmesbury Victoria Development if they are to realistically keep alive their hopes of finishing a successful season in the top six.
